About William Gallery

Michael Jackson, born in Elyria, Ohio in 1977, began his journey under the guidance of his grandfather, William Connors, laying the foundation for his artistic pursuits.
Michael's artistic endeavors began with various mediums such as paint and pastels leading to a BA in Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the Columbus College of Art & Design as a 1999 graduate. Through the years, Michael&aops;s art has made its way to juried shows at Bay Arts, Valley Art Center, The May Show at the Mansfield Art Center, The Butler Institute of American Art, and Bryn Du Mansion as well as six solo exhibitions.
Working in the field of Industrial Design, Michael relocated to Wooster, Ohio where he continued to pursue his own artistic creations in addition to curating artwork for local galleries, including Grigio Wine Bar, Spoon, and the Lyric Theatre.
Today, Michael&aops;s dream has come full circle as he opens up William Gallery and MJ Studios cultivating a continued passion to enhance the Arts District in Wooster, Ohio while giving back to the community through mentorship opportunities with high school and college aged art students.
